what inspired you to start your own business?
Call it fate, kismet, or sheer luck. When the universe closes one door, it opens another. As it happens. Julie and I were placed directly into each other's paths, not once, but twice during our careers. Becoming law partners was less of a decision and more of what was simply meant to be.

2016
what is your business slogan or motto?
Law Powered by Women.
what makes your business unique?
We like to think it is, anyway. We are big enough to provide a lot of very important services to our clients, but small enough to know every single one by name. We brag about our staff AND our clients.
what product/services do you offer?
We started as an injury firm and we have since expanded into Wills, Trusts, and Estates, as well as Family Law - divorce, custody, paternity, etc.
what inspires your work and what sets you apart from everyone else?
It's very easy, practicing in the fields that we do, to put our own interests first - billing hourly, unnecessarily trying cases knowing our clients will never collect a judgment - but that's not our way. It's not our practice to put our desires first, and we do everything in our power to provide support in a manner that is MOST consistent with our clients' needs.
what has been your biggest success to date?
Reputation. Reputation is everything, and NOTHING beats a personal referral.
if you could go back to the beginning knowing what you know now, what would you have done differently?
I think we are where we are because of how we did things, right and wrong. Wouldn't change a thing.
what’s your best advice for someone who wants to start a business?
It takes a good mix of preparation, determination, and frankly. sheer faith. It's never going to be easy but it's going to be worth it!
what’s the next step for your business?
Being open to the possibilities! We listen to our clients' needs and have some ideas brewing!
